Domaine Berry‑Althoff began in 2015 when oenologists Imogen Berry and Robin Althoff settled in Aubais in the Gard (Languedoc, southern France).

Imogen’s wine path started more than 15 years ago with winemaking work in Argentina and Chile, followed by stints in the Loire Valley, South Africa, California and elsewhere. Robin grew up around biodynamic viticulture on his family’s estate (Costes‑Cirgues), absorbing sulfur‑free winemaking and a deep respect for soil life before travelling to places like Burgundy and Napa Valley to broaden his craft.

Globally informed duo with deep, versatile experience, they think of themselves more as artisan winemakers. Sometimes their wines cannot be distinguished from conventional in terms of clarity and sharpness, and then they still manage to surprise with some twist in the finish. And we love to be surprised.
