Our most recent proud point: Ukrainian Lunch at our friends' amazing bar&restaurant September! We've invited Lera's lovely mom Olena to cook traditional Ukrainian dishes and we were pouring lots of Ukrainian wine with great support and love from Lizzie and Matt. We have dreamed about those cabbage rolls & rolled crepes since then...

We've relaunched Natural Born Sippers, group tasting in which we gather people for two hours of deep dive in our winemaker's mindsets, tools, inspirations and practices with the best end point - sipping the wine itself! Our first edition was dedicated to orange wines, 5 different bottles, three different regions, much more notes and nuances, packed in one hot summery event. More to go!

Our friend Yara was leading a super special Easter event, Ukrainian Pysanka Workshop. Back in the day, when the year began in spring, pysanka was a community ritual, a way to create a protective charm for the coming year. And we have brought that ritual to Amsterdam! It was full of tender guidance, traditional ornaments & schemes, and, obviously, lots of Ukrainian wine by our beloved Beykush winery. Followed by Pre-Easter drinks with DJ, but that's completely differrent story...

Food + wine pairing is boring, that's why we teamed up with Justina Nekrašaitė for ultimate imagination play within the realm of abstraction. Justina was presenting 4 different art books that she has encountered being Art Books Photographer, and we've paired them with 4 different bottles of our wine. We were nervous but it ended up being one of the best multi-sensorial experiences we've ever had! Super knowledgeable Justina were telling a lot about how books are printed, about different covers, fonts, materials and, of course, essences of the stories told by those books. Our favourite is our bottle Hail! paired with last moments of fireflies captured on long exposure film.

Amazing moderator of any discussion panel you can imagine, Hannah from SocialCapital and Conversation Club, is hosting semi-regularly her book clubs and Conversation Clubs at Rebel. We observe heated debates while we pour our wine for inspiration and letting people connect, express themselves & listen to other people's opinions.

Found new friends again, this time in creative sphere, launching our ongoing monthly series of events - writing club 'Lack of Words', where each month members write 1,000 words on designated prompt. We've kicked off this series with Dionysis being a topic and we went all in... we paired each piece of text (!) with its own wine (!!) which resulted in muuuch longer discussions that we've expected... 10\10 fun, but headache next day.

Launched our ongoing series of events (currently preparing edition number 4!) with our new friends at Mingle Community, learning never was more fun! Sophie is hosting it, being responsible for teaching wine-related vocabulary in Dutch, while we pour wine itself and educate people abour our winemakers, process of vinification, regions, tasting notes and much more. Heeeel gezellig!

On March 12, Rebel Wines hosts Shid for an exhibition of ten mini photo zines featuring film photography by the Frolov brothers, captured between 2016 and 2020 in Horlivka, eastern Ukraine, under Russian occupation.

The event features Ukrainian wine, live DJ sets by Nemo Jr. from 20ft Radio and yi.collective, and a charity sale.

On Sunday, March 8, together with Social Capital we host International Women's Day drinks.

From 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, we are bringing the women of Amsterdam together for natural wine and unfiltered conversation. Forget empty corporate feminism.

On March 14, we are teaming up with Varshawka for a celebration of Polish cuisine. We are pouring carefully selected natural wines to pair with a seasonal four course menu by Sonka and Hela.

On March 7 and 8, we joined the March edition of the Chez Lucie Vintage Popup in Amsterdam Oost. We poured natural wine while everyone hunted for unique vintage tableware, vintage Armani, D&G, and Gucci jeans, plus amazing food by Alessandra Kitchen Crafts

Wreath-weaving evening with florist Iryna Myhaylivna, a cozy December gathering filled with quiet conversation, seasonal scents, and do-your-own-thing creativity. Guests created their own festive wreaths while enjoying a glass of full-bodied red wine and an early taste of holiday magic. 🎄🍷

Anti–Black Friday at Rebel Wines, a three-day garage sale celebrating second lives for clothing, upcycling, and conscious slow fashion. Featuring a sample sale by Ukrainian brand U So Nice and handmade scarves from Lithuanian brand Byjkamsterdam, alongside natural wines (15% off selected bottles). Yi Collective set the tone on Saturday with a live DJ session.
