7 Rows
Slovakia
Seven rows of vines on the border of Czech Republic and Slovakia: that’s how it started. A family patch that grew into a punk movement with wine that is self-proclaimed 'no bullshit wine' meaning there is no added sulfur or sugar.
The vineyard is alive with animals: horses plow, cows feed the soil, bees keep the balance. Everything is biodynamic, everything circles back to the land. Grapes are pressed the old way, wines age in barrels, clay eggs, even underground Georgian qvevri.
Every vintage here is a roll of the dice, never the same twice, but always something elegantly weird, expressive, and straight to the point. This is wine for people who refuse to settle, who want surprise in the glass instead of boredom. Hard to make, dangerously easy to drink!
