The Soviet machine almost completely eradicated the Kisi grape because it was too stubborn to yield mass quantities. Bureaucrats demanded cheap volume, but this vine demanded respect. A handful of farmers kept a few rogue vines secretly alive in their backyards for decades. Now this ancient survivor is back from the brink to absolutely dominate the modern natural wine scene and shatter the concept of boring white wine.

Pure Kisi spontaneously fermented on the skins and stems in traditional underground Qvevri. Bottled raw with zero filtration and no added sulfur to maintain an untamed edge. Heavy hit of dried apricot, steeped black tea, slightly nutty. Intensely textured, deeply amber, armed with a grippy finish.
