A two-year barrel-aged gose brewed with fresh hops and red wine grapes. Juicy, tart, gently salty, with an intense pink colour and a striking tension between sour beer and red-wine fruit.

Hopfengrund is Christoph & Julie Hoch’s project in which they bring the intuition of winemaking into brewing, working with organic and locally grown ingredients, wild fermentation, old grains, fruit and wine barrels. It results in naturally fermented beer that blurs the line between wine and beer!
